Ms. Dobbs'

Hello!  My name is Ms. Dobbs and this is my third year at Otis Brown.  I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies this year!  I feel so lucky to be able to work with children every day and help them learn and grow throughout the school year.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  I returned to school to get my teaching certification and pursue my dream of becoming a teacher.  It has been an amazing journey with the students at Otis Brown!

I recently bought a house in Lewisville, TX and live there with my younger sister.  There are three dogs, Paisley, Grier and Berkley, that also live with us and keep us very busy!  I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as sewing, baking and decorating cakes and doing anything creative!
